San Diego Office Impact Initiative

Below are opportunities to donate to local nonprofits that are supported by Price Philanthropies as well as PriceSmart Foundation’s work in Latin America and the Caribbean. PriceSmart will randomly select two winners among participating employees from each office for an all-expenses paid trip to Costa Rica, where they will help PriceSmart’s Aprender y Crecer deliver a donation of school supplies. PriceSmart’s mission is to serve as a model company, which operates profitably and provides a good return to our investors, by providing Members in emerging and developing markets with exciting, high quality merchandise sourced from around the world and valuable services at compelling prices.

As a part of this mission, PriceSmart prides itself on being an active member of the communities in which it does business and a responsible and engaged neighbor.

For this year, fiscal year 2023, we are excited to support a new initiative where we are engaging our San Diego and Miami offices to participate in fundraising for Aprender y Crecer’s Juntos Por La Educación Campaign. Employees who wish to donate will be entered into a drawing to win an all-expenses paid trip to Costa Rica, where they will participate in a donation of school supplies with Aprender y Crecer, along with other visits that highlight PriceSmart’s sustainability efforts.

Four lucky winners will be selected at random: two from the San Diego office and two from the Miami office.*

* Donations must be received by XX/XX/XX to be entered into drawing. Only one entry per person. There is no minimum donation amount in order to be entered into the drawing. Must possess a valid passport with expiration date June 30, 2023 or later, along with any visas necessary for entry into Costa Rica. If you wish to donate but do NOT wish to be entered into the drawing, please send an email to [email protected]. Trip expenses include airfare, travel insurance, hotel, meals, and ground transportation in Costa Rica. Alcoholic beverages are not included and will not be reimbursed.
