Turning Green Uses Impactree to Promote Climate Action Nationwide!
Turning Green is a student-led movement dedicated to cultivating a healthy, just and thriving planet through education and advocacy around environmentally sustainable and socially responsible choices, practices and actions. We inform, empower and mobilize a global network of students to become visionary catalysts for sustainable change.
Impactree and the Turning Green 2020 interns have worked together to create actions that we believe are educational, simple, and impactful. These actions cover a range of topics from Project Green Challenge, and informative videos about reducing your global impact and protecting your health, to addressing racism and environmental injustice. Below are a few actions, but find many others on the Turning Green Action Hub on Impactree.
First, many people are not aware of what happens to our stuff after we throw it away. This educational video helps to inform the public about single-use products and why they are harmful to the environment. With this action, one can spread awareness on how to reduce your individual environmental awareness.
Furthermore, Turning Green is committed to fight injustice within our society. This action displays a list of nonfiction books that are designed to educate the public on how to hold ourselves accountable. Learn more by clicking the action below!
